A Charter School Pursuit for Summit County

Tenmile Academy is pursuing a charter to open a tuition-free public K–12 classical school serving Summit County. Our goal is to open as early as the 2027–2028 school year, with the 2028–2029 school year as a more likely timeline. We are working to build a school rooted in a classical model of education—one that emphasizes strong academic foundations, critical thinking, clear communication, and the formation of character, all in partnership with families. As we take the first steps in this process, we are seeking to understand the level of interest within our community. Your input is an important part of bringing this vision to life. If this is a school you might consider for your child, we invite you to complete our interest survey and stay connected as we move forward.
